I build companies, and I coach the people behind them.

I've spent the last 17 years working inside small businesses across the United States — sometimes as the founder, sometimes as the operator embedded for years at a time, sometimes as the outside strategic partner brought in for the decisions that matter most.
The future of business is community building, better customer experience, and a softer human touch on the planet.
My work spans real estate, manufacturing, housing, community, fashion, food, and consumer brands. The common thread is people: businesses I believe in are built by people I'd want to share a meal with, in places I'd actually want to live.
Today I split my time between Made X Hudson — a small-batch garment factory and boutique in Hudson, NY — the Hudson Community Incubator, and a portfolio of ventures and advisory clients. I write a weekly Field Note for founders who care more about the craft than the optics.
While degrees don't quite matter at this point in my career, my education has deeply informed my holistic thinking patterns. I hold a dual Masters in Architecture and Integrated Product Design from the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelors of Arts in History from Northwestern.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Bruno, dog, Jacques, and friends. Lately I'm into running and dancing to help balance being a human.
